contrary to what people might think,
i don’t get to photograph my family nearly as
much as i’d like to.
but we had a beautiful session at montrose harbor,
one of the beautiful areas a little north of the city.
it was so nice to watch them together, and to be
able to capture the beauty of my niece.
the love between my brother + sister in-law.
a relationship beginning to blossom between my brother
and his new lady.
and the love of her + her little ones.
without further adieu,
pshhhh, as if you don’t recognize that little peanut in the middle!
you’ll notice as you go through this post, that i am
slightly obsessed with her.
c’mon! she’s my niece, gimme a break!
and such a gift to my life, and everyone’s life.
the world is a more beautiful place because of her.
she’s going to be a free spirited hippy.
i love her curiosity
her whispy hair
her little voice
and the little shyness that comes over her when i photograph her
she explores with no fear like her daddy
and she’s got the heart of her mommy
i have another brother. another big brother.
he’s the brother that literally beat up boys for me,
and carried me home when i fell off my bike and scraped my knee.
he’s a cool dude. the mechanic.
and he has met a new lovely lady, alayna.
and alayna has two adorable babies
layla is a sassy one.
she has a witty adorable remark for just about everything.
she makes me excited for cammi to be her age.
and that’s selfish of me, because i am sure that after the cuteness
subsides, those little remarks to the parents become a little much!
but that’s what aunts are for, right?
landyn turns one this week.
he’s without a doubt going to play football.
his eyes are so blue that they look like i spent hours in photoshop coloring them.
he wasn’t happy about being out in the cold, and he definitely
didn’t like watching the girls play and run, while all he can do is
crawl. poor little guy, you’ll get there!
i could photograph layla all day.
she is sassy, but she is so charming + tender.
just a big blog of pure cuteness for you all, enjoy!
…and Merry Christmas, homies!
