i’ve been trying to write something to accompany these wedding photos, but try as i might, i just can’t figure out how to tell you concisely and without type screaming all the things i loved most about this wedding…
for instance, the fact that jessica snuck away from everyone and then just popped out of a room totally dressed and ready to go with no fuss, no muss. CONFETTI THAT NEVER STOPPED!! they drove away in a freaking cadillac fleetwood! trying extra hard for the cheesiest possible photo with the brick dick, elvis coming back from the dead for this wedding, DRAG QUEENS, toasts that made you weep and laugh so hard you’d cried some more, an employee getting up to sing “man in the mirror” and ending the performance by asking for a raise…fireworks, a perfect sunset, red lips, CUBAN FOOD SO GOOD IT WOULD BLOW YOUR MIND, rocks paper scissor-ing for who says their vows first, a bad ass lady DJ because WHO RUN THE WORLD?! …a prince cake, and all the charm that this tiny little part of ypsilanti has to offer…they did ypsi so good.
this day was a breath of smokey air, and i’ll never forget it for as long as i live… you’ll know why after a few scrolls….
there were a million and one moving parts and surprises that resulted in this day being everything it was, and these are just some of the folks who made it happen:
wedding planners extraordinaire: two foot creative
ceremony venue: riverside art center
reception venue: sidetrack bar + grill
videography: LionHeart Creative
THE QUEENS: Chanel Hunter and Jadein Black
grub: frita batidos
