It felt like the sun shown upon us that day as if it was there to shine on no one else but Anne + Joey. Everywhere we went, it cloaked our semi chilled skin in warmth, and it dappled the streets we walked with twinkling bubbles…

The Shinola Hotel provided a most charming backdrop for getting ready photos, and an incredible first look, and they they had the most intimate and beautiful ceremony right on the Detroit River Walk, and then we spent some time basking in that sun I’ll never shut up about.

And when you have the honor of wearing your Grandmother’s wedding dress 70 years later, you take to the streets and frolic in that sun, am I right?
